Ron Pettet, grew up as the son of a home missions pastor in Missouri. He and his wife, Sue, have pastored Fossil Creek Community Church since 1991. Pastor Pettet maintains an open door policy and encourages your questions and comments.
They have two grown children, Brian, who, with his family is a missionary to Alaska; and Amy, who lives with her family in Missouri. Prior to coming to Texas, he pastored in Kansas.
Pastor Grant believes that the Christian journey through life is not to be traveled alone. His desire is for each person at Fossil Creek Community Church to be connected, strengthened, and cared for during the highs and lows of life. As the Christian Education Director, Grant oversees the Christian Education Ministry, Care Groups, and the young adult ministry called True Life.
Grant is a graduate of Evangel University, and the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, Mo. He and his wife Stephanie moved to Texas in 2008 and have since had their first child Aubrey. Together the couple ministers to the congregation through various ministries from young adults to seniors.
Pastor David’s vision of youth ministry is evident in the name of the group…REACH! He has a yearning to reach young people and help them to live for Christ. With the help of a quality support team of youth sponsors, he provides the right agenda to draw kids into an atmosphere of unconditional love.
Pastor David attended Fossil Creek Community Church as a child while his father assisted on staff with the Hispanic Ministry. He came through the ranks of the children, youth and college ministries before following his call to ministry. He joined the staff as the Youth Pastor in 1996 where he continues to minister to Junior and Senior high and college students and oversees annual Missions trips to Mexico and Colorado. Pastor David is a TCU graduate. He and his wife Jamie have two sons, Drew and Isaac.
Pastor Philip has a passion to see the kids of Fort Worth find a relationship with Christ. With a core belief that each person’s life should be fun and exciting as they follow Christ, his vision is being accomplished. Activities include multiple ministries both in the church and outside of its four walls. Sunday’s include Jungle Jam for preschooler’s and Creek Kids Children’s Church for elementary age. Various boys and girls ministry options are available on Wednesday nights. During the school year, Phillip oversees the Sidewalk Sunday ministry outreach targeting neighborhood children.
Phillip grew up in Topeka, Kansas and Mustang, Oklahoma. He has been involved with Children’s ministries at the local church level since 1999, working with various ages of children through traveling children’s events, Royal Family Kids Camps and Missionary Kid Training. Phillip met his wife Michelle, who grew up in a missionary family serving in Kiev, Ukraine, while teaching Children’s Church in Oklahoma City. They both graduated from Southwestern Assemblies of God University, Phillip with a Bachelor’s Degree in Church Ministries and Michelle with a degree in Elementary Education. Together the couple serve the children and families of Fossil Creek Community Church and strive to reach out to the surrounding community.
Joe McGee has a sincere desire to guide those who serve musically at Fossil Creek Community Church, to develop their God-given gifts to the fullest. Joe believes that “every time we bless God with thanksgiving and adoration, He in return blesses, heals, restores, and empowers those whom He has called”.
Joe and his wife Sherry came to Fossil Creek in 1994 from Wichita Falls, Texas where he served many years in music ministry. He is currently the Band Director for BurlesonHigh School. The McGee’s have three grown daughters, Angela, Jolie, and Callie who are married; and a daughter Rhema and son Joseph who are still at home.
Gail Snider- Church Ministries & Operations Pastor
Pastor Gail understands that the ministry of facilities and operations of the church is the key to the continued growth of the church and the spiritual growth of those who call FCCC their home. Pastor Gail has a unique ministry of serving the congregation through her ability to multi-task various ministries operations while also serving as a confidant, compassionate, and caring prayer warrior.
Pastor Gail and her family came to Fossil Creek, (RockwoodPark at that time) in 1997. She joined the staff in the summer of 2001. Gail has a BA in Bible Studies with an emphasis in Missions from Central Bible College in Springfield, MO. She and her husband John have two college age children, Alex and Elaine.
Zane Lescalleet- Director, Apple of His Eye Preschool
Zane has a genuine love for the children of Apple of His Eye Preschool and the families the program serves. It is her desire to see children grow developmentally, physically, and spiritually through the program. She has served as Director since January 2002.
Zane and her family moved to the Metroplex from El Paso, Texas. They came to Fossil Creek Community Church in May 2000. She and her husband Randy have two children, Aaron and Katelyn.
