Small Groups
Why do we do small groups?
At fc3, we believe building genuine friendships is one of the key factors in spiritual growth. As the church grows, we continue to gather in smaller settings where we can connect relationally and grow spiritually.
Overall, this is not a new concept...
Acts 2:42-47. "They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer... They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord's Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity - all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their group those who were being saved."
What will it be like?
Each group has a discussion time on the message that was preached on Sunday morning. This aspect encourages the group members to slow down, re-engage the sermon truths, and focus on life application.
When do groups meet?
Small groups will run in the fall and spring of each year. The groups meet on the 2nd & 4th weeks of the month. Lengths of small group meetings last about an hour and the groups meet on different evenings throughout the week so you can find one to fit your schedule.
How do I get involved?
Sign-ups take place in August. If you miss sign-ups, there is no need to worry. You can contact Pastor Grant and he will help find a group that is right for you.
For more information or details, contact Pastor Grant Curtis.
